This item was created using high quality fabrics. The backing is red fabric with tiny black specks. The binding is the same red fabric. I added a machine quilted zoo animal stitch, in gold thread, that enhances the overall design. The double-layer binding is machine stitched on the front & hand-stitched on the back. A rod casing was hand sewn on the back for easy display on a wall. Measurements: 26 x 44.5 inches The top layer is 100% quality cotton fabric The middle layer is 80/20 cotton & polyester batting The backing is 100% quality cotton fabric This quilt was made in my clean, pet-free & smoke-free quilting studio using only the highest quality materials. I do not pre-wash the quilts prior to shipping.
