The jar has been coated in coffee grounds & sealed over with a water based glue - the image is also sealed with glue so that entire jar & the grubby mixture is water resistant. Jar measures 7 tall (from pump to base), & 3 across base. As with all of our grubby style jars & soap dispensers, the sealant is water resistant but not water-proof. They work best when not fully submerged or left to sit in standing water for extended periods of time. We also strongly advise that you only use hand soap & use these jars for hand-washing, rather than dish washing. Dish washing soaps tend to be chemically stronger & may affect the rusty lid finish eventually. Furthermore, dish washing tends to, by its very nature, cause splashing & standing water to run all over your jar - doing this repeatedly over long periods of time, may make your jar wet - which would require it to be set aside to dry out.
