Pair of size large, handcrafted finials for lamps that are simple yet delightfully quirky. The organic round ball shape was originally formed by hand. It's modern, wabi-sabi style suits a variety of home decor styles. Painted & glazed by hand they have a finish that is smooth glossy with top-quality metal fitting secured inside. My friend who makes lamp shades suggested that I make finials. Until then, finials were not even on my radar. Without a clue about where to start with the idea, I fell back on my original sculpting skills & thought of the toppers as miniature sculptures. The shapes are organic & simple. I tracked down the necessary hardware that is universal to all standard lamp harps & will secure your shade to your lamp's harp. Should there be a problem with fitting, it is possible to get adapters. They say it's all in the details, so update an old lamp or personalize a new one with this singular, finishing touch!
