Linen requires very little water to grow & flax only grown in small part of the world, like southern France & Belgium. It's planted & harvested every year. & the same land harvested this year needs to be used for different plant to grow for the next year to keep the eco system. Linen is hypoallergenic & bacteria resistant by nature. Linen growing is environmentally friendly by nature. There is really not a need for Okex certified tag. SHRINKAGE: All of our linens are prewashed, very little shrinkage (1%) after the first wash. Not much shrinkage afterwards. We also leave a bit room when sewing. Linen gets softer with wash & use.
