Just email me to ValsArt (at) me.com (or send by Etsy Messages) a few photos of your special friend, & I will needle felt a painting out of wool roving onto recycled, felted sweater fabric. I make a collaged background of felted, repurposed sweater wool, use contrasting fabric, ribbon and/or trims to frame the picture, back the pillow with a lovely fabric that compliments the front. I stuff the pillow with an eco-friendly non-allergic batting. The measurements are approximately 9 x 11 - 11 x 12 by 3-4 thickness. This personalized pillow would make a fabulous & unique gift, & will certainly delight the recipient! The pillow is an eye catcher in any room. Please note that this is an art pillow, & should be handled gently. Displaying it on a little used chair or on a guest room bed is the perfect display option. Gentle spot cleaning is recommended. If necessary, the pillow can be VERY gently hand washed & air dried. Do not wash the pillow in the washing machine, as you will ruin it. I will make your pillow in the box style pillow design. Please note: I need a GOOD QUALITY PHOTO of your pet, with them preferably looking at the camera, or a nice profile view. It is most helpful if you can send me several different images, including a couple of different poses; sitting, lying down, etc. I am able to use a perfect head pose from one photo with a body pose from a second photo. If you have trouble getting your pet to look at the camera, I suggest holding a favorite treat in your hand while taking the photo. (Works great for me- my dog won't take her eyes off the treat!) Note: ALL BLACK PETS are very hard to do, & I will have to add grey & other colors for you to even see the features on a black animal. You can let me know if you have a color preference for the pillow color, but I may not be able to match your color palette exactly.
