This small stoneware vase & its bowl are made & decorated by hand. This is a unique piece. I was inspired by the Memphis design style for the decor. The vase was made using the coil technique & then hand-painted with slip. It then dried for about a week. It was fired in the oven a first time & then glazed with transparent glossy enamel & then fired a second time at 1250oC. It has roughness, bumps, colors & different textures that make it so charming! Features : Unique piece. Vase: 10 cm high, 7 cm wide. Cup: 11.7 cm in diameter. Material: chamotte stoneware, slip, glossy transparent enamel. Creation signed on the back.
