Inspiration behind the product This item was originally designed as a project to help my mum with her concentration as she suffered from Dementia. Mum lived with me & my husband & knitting used to be her passion. Unfortunately due to the onset of Dementia her capacity to hold & remember information in the short term meant that she could only concentrate for short periods of time & often forgot things. However, with patience, lots of 'post it notes' & plenty of repetition she was able to do the 'knit stitch' again without supervision so renewed her love of knitting with this item & went on to make quite a few. Sadly, mum was also diagnosed with Cancer & passed away in February 2016 but I will gladly make these covers again in her memory. Jenny requested that any item she produced & sold should help others.
