This custom house number is carefully handcrafted using genuine porcelain enamel & old-fashioned stenciling techniques. We prepare the artwork in our studio & present it to you before stenciling & firing in our ceramic furnace. Our designs are revivals of historical signs of northern Europe, with authentic trims & typefaces. ABOUT THIS PRODUCT This plaque measures 2 3/4 x 8 1/4 (21 x 7 cm) & holds up to 5 digits. You can choose from a number of color & trim options (see the pictures above), & even submit your own design, trims, or fonts. The shape is beautifully arched into a domed shape, giving it dimension, & each character is carefully stenciled by hand. The sign is made from low carbon steel coated with porcelain enamel which fuses onto the steel at 1470F (800C) in the kiln. This makes it extremely hardy & resistant to the sun, water, & corrosive atmospheres. Your sign is delivered with solid brass screws, ready to mount.
