This shiny vessel was wheel thrown. It has a wide shoulder, a soft, uneven rim with split cut into it, which makes it seem a bit rakish. The additional glazes & oxides make this pot prominent as well as shiny. This would make a great centerpiece or a decorative piece on a shelf or mantel. It can hold water for flowers or anything else you'd like to put in it. 5.5 h x 8 w x 8 d It's been fired to cone 10 in a reduction atmosphere using a shino glaze, & several other glazes & oxides sprayed & painted on it.
