Baby/Throw Quilt I Don't Kid About Quiche

This is yellow & gray gender-neutral baby quilt. It's also a good size for a living room throw at 52 x 40. The quilt is entirely hand-stitched, with a cross stitch used for the squares & border. My style is to use the raw edge of the fabric, which will lead to some stray threads the first few times through the wash. This is perfectly normal & they can be harmlessly, if gently, pulled off. The quilting is visible on the backside, & you can see it follows long lines or the pattern of the patches to make it invisible on the front side. The patches are lightweight cotton, the backing is a medium weight gray cotton, & the filler is a soft cotton batting. All three are stitched together, then turned right side out, kind of like a pillow, to stitch the folded over border. All materials are washed before the final assembly, & the entire thing is machine-washable, cold & hang-dry. Baby/Throw Quilt I Don't Kid About Quiche
