Tai-Lu people are division of the Tai-Kham-Sui-Kadai, who originated in Yunnan area, China. Tai means 'people of', so the word following usually states which area they are from. Tai-Lu people finally migrated to Northern Laos from Yunnan area around 10 A.D. The one-of-a-kind textile features gorgeous handwoven silks & cottons in various shades & geometric shape designs, finished with a flat linen blend reverse & invisible zip enclosure. Of course, being decades old, the fabric has a worn & rustic look with small marks & loose threads as you can see in the pictures, which only serve to add to it's rare vintage beauty.
