Light is directed from the top and bottom of the shade and reflected off the metallic lining for a warm glow. A reducing ring is provided to convert from a 39mm / ES27 fitting (EU) to a 29mm / smaller bayonet fitting (UK). The central bulb holder sits 4cm up from the bottom on a lamp shade, or 4cm down from the top on a ceiling pendant shade; for arc floor lamps, a ceiling pendant fitting position is required.
