This is a small Dartington Crystal glass vase, hand engraved with a delicate, deeply carved sea anemone. It is fully functional as a vase as well as a purely decorative work of art. Perfect for a wedding gift or table decoration for a sea themed wedding. It would also be a great treat for yourself or a perfect gift for a birthday, housewarming, or anniversary, as well as a nature or ocean lover, maybe someone who likes to rockpool!. Drill engraving uses a diamond bur to mark the surface of glass. The technique I use is to carve into the glass to simulate depth when viewed from the other side. Then areas are polished & highlighted in such a way to enhance the features of the engraving & create light & shadow. This listing is for one vase All packaging i.e boxes & bubble wrap is reused/ recycled so that limited new materials are used.
