The raw materials used are purple stone ceramic, glazes, & 12 carat gold. Stoneware is made at high temperatures - around 1250C - & therefore is known for being much more durable in comparison with plain ceramic. Stoneware absorbs almost no water. The underlying shape of the clock is a tetrahedron. This is a very stable shape. It's capable of harmonizing the environment around itself.
