This blanket is made of 2 different patterned cotton double gauze & 2 types of minky. The center panel is double gauze with pink hearts filled in with pink flowers & metallic silver dots. The white background also has small silver metallic dots floating through it. This panel is bordered by a pink textured minky that has hearts recessed into the texture. The gray end panels are double gauze with metallic silver stars floating across it. The backing is the same pink with recessed stars. The binding is a highly textured gray minky. Attached to the back are five different tags that your baby will love to find & play with. This blanket comes with four burp cloths. Two have the white double gauze with hearts on the front & two have the gray with the metallic stars. On the back of all four is a soft absorbent cotton. Measures approximately 40 long by 29 wide All of my quilts are made using the only highest quality minky. Not all minky is created equally! The type I use is very plush, with excellent color, shine & softness that babies love! Also, all of my quilts have a 100% minky backing, which means your baby will be surrounded by soft minky no matter how they hold or use the blanket. All of my quilts are handmade in my smoke-free, in-home sewing studio. My blankets are higher quality than the majority of handmade baby blankets on the market. Most blankets are made with just one piece of fabric for the front & one for the back, with the back cut a little larger & folded over to the front for the binding. This is called a self-binding technique. This method can lead to the edges of a blanket wearing out first. My quilts are all made with 3-5 pieces of fabric on the front & then a separate piece of fabric for the binding, which results in a stronger, more durable quilt.
