Some are clan tartans relating to a specific surname & others are general, universal tartans. The tartans are bought in metre lengths from various Scottish producers of tartan or quality remnants that I buy from a local kilt maker. They are either 100% wool, wool mix or poly viscose. Placement of the tartan design will change with each frame. Use the drop down box for the available tartans I have. Unfortunately, if your tartan isn't listed, then I don't have it The Stag & Wording: The stag's head is cut out from black card & attached directly to the tartan fabric. If your tartan is very dark in colour, I will add a layer of black vinyl over the card so that it is more noticeable. I think it gives a kind of 'leather-ish' look to the stag. The saying 'Welcome Tae Oor Wee Hoose' is in a font similar to Charles Rennie MacIntosh & is cut from black vinyl. Frame Choice & Size: 1. Oak wood effect frame: 10 x 10 x2 I have only a few left of these left as they are now discontinued 2. White frame: 10.6 x 10.6 x 2.4 (Approximately) 3. Black frame: 10.6 x 10.6 x 2.4 (Approximately) All frames have acrylic fronts & standard white apertures. Variations: The wording 'Welcome Tae Ma Wee Hoose' is also available on request. Other colours of vinyl are available should you require a different colour other than black for the lettering. No Tartan for your Surname? I've been told a few times that if you don't have a tartan affiliated to your surname you can pick one that you like, but be sure to learn the history of it.
