About Susannah Carson Susannah is a self-taught artist with a background in classical literature as an academic, editor, and author. She holds multiple graduate degrees in French literature, including an M. Phil. from the Sorbonne and a Ph.D. from Yale. She's lived in Paris, Lyon, London, New Haven, San Francisco, and West Hollywood, and she currently divides her time between the Napa Valley where she was born and the prairies of rural Northern Oregon, where she lives with her husband, his two dogs, and the town deer.
