Handmade Wooden bird feeders made in the UK. This one is huge, will hold a couple of kg of peanuts at least. I made this originally for a friend that is really into his birds. I joked they didn't make bird feeders big enough for him - turned out they didn't! As his went down so well I thought I'd make a few more to sell. For serious bird enthusiasts only! These feeders are great for feeding garden birds peanuts. The top is attached with galvanised wire. There are two supporting dowels int he middle of the feeder to provide strength, having them as dowel means the peanuts don't get caught on them. The sides are built out of reclaimed pine, so they sometimes have stamps, marks & holes, adding to the look of this basket. They are also branded with my logo. The base is made from 6mm (1/4) mesh. The wood is treated with a coat of boiled linseed oil. It measures 29cm wide by 40cm high by 6.5cm deep, the top measures 12cm wide by 34 cm long. Sizes are approximate.
