MANUFACTURING For the manufacture of this piece, 2 ceramic kiln firings were necessary. Both of them have been made at more than 1000 C, the first to biscuit the clay & leave it ready for decoration & the second to apply the decoration & glaze. The base material is white earthenware, of great hardness & resistance. The color details are made with inorganic pigments & the transparent glossy glaze that protects the piece, is a transparent boracic glaze, free of lead. Each piece in this collection is handmade & unique, so it may differ slightly from the photographs.
