Drawing on the Korean 'Rice-Bale shaped' bottles of Li dynasty, the artist explored classical ceramic archetype though his signature playful & geometric style. Process: The main body was partly wheel-thrown, hand-built, & sculpted by hand. White slip was applied on the iron rich reddish clay body before the initial firing. The glazing with minimum colour palette (brown, black & yellow) was added before the second firing. This item is a functional watertight flower vase.
