It's made from solid wood & is very sturdy holding up 125kg (that's my tested weight), so you can sit on it to put your shoes on & take them off. The base is painted in a range of colours, 1 coat of Sealer & 3 coats of top coat, I use Rustoleum Furniture Paint to give that matt rustic look, if you want a different colour from what I have listed then let me know which one from the Rustoleum range & I can do it in that colour instead. There are 2 shelves to put your shoes on making great storage for your shoes in any Hallway, Utility, Porch or any room in the house. The are no screw heads visible on this Shoe Rack unlike some of the ones on Etsy, I don't even use screws to assemble them. Screws do not look pretty for handmade furniture. The top is waxed using a high quality wax & I can do the top part in a range of colours, these include, Dark Oak (as in the picture), Antique Pine, Clear Wax, Jacobean, Medium Brown, Rustic Pine, Spanish Mahogony, & Walnut. I do 50cm to 120cm width, the height is 45cm tall & the depth is 30cm with an Internal depth of 28cm to allow for the overhang of the top. I do also have other listings with a 26cm deep version also. This is fully assembled so there is no need to build this, unpack it & it's ready to use. Please remember that this is a handmade product & as such there will be slight variations, the grain pattern, & the wax colour can vary slightly depending on the variations in the wood. Wood is a natural product & can move slightly depending on humidity & can split, I would not recommend this in a bathroom for example.
