This is a stylish & attractive ceramic Mantel clock in our unique Art Deco Clarice Cliff inspired Trees, Clouds & Sun design. This good sized clock has been hand glazed in our own Paris White glaze with contrasting hand decorated black, green, orange, yellow & red glaze detail. The hour & minute hands are metal & finished in black. This glaze combination just screams out 1920's Jazz Age complementing the geometric design of this time piece very well. The Inspiration for this unique timepiece comes from the distinctively colourful & abstract style of Clarice Cliff's Bizarre ware range of ceramics. We used Clarice Cliff as a starting point for creating a whole new range of designs for the 21st century while paying respect to the original Art Deco style of the 1920's & 30's. This piece of individual ceramic art was handmade & designed by ourselves at our Echo of Deco Art Pottery in the UK. Founded by the British ceramic design team Russell & Malcolm Akerman the Echo Of Deco studio is a contemporary ceramic studio specializing in designing & individually hand making original ceramic objects inspired by the classic Art Deco style. We have many collectors in Canada, America & Europe as well as all over the UK, & our work has been featured in various leading magazine articles. All our work is traditionally hand made in very small numbers at our studio pottery in the UK.
