This wall mask has been hand glazed in our own Paris white glaze with contrasting hand decorated blue hat, black & blue matching earing & neck line detail, she also has red lips & black eyeliner detail, which just scream's out 1920's, Jazz Age & complements the geometric design of this wall mask very well. The inspiration for our Flapper Girl wall mask comes from combining an original Art Deco wall mask design with elements of exciting, bold & colourful clothing worn by women during the 1920's & 30's. These women were known as 'Flapper Girls', their ground breaking approach to fashion was refreshing & liberating, they epitomised the cool modernism & bold style of Art Deco This piece of individual ceramic art was handmade & designed by ourselves at our Echo of Deco Art Pottery in the UK.
