The original lamp was made for a woman whose recently passed sister loved lighthouses. It is an artists representation of her favorite type & was part of her memorial ceremony. This beautiful ruby red stained glass lighthouse lamp was handmade using the copper foil method. Its perfect for those early Autumn, & Spring evenings on the deck, or indoors as a bedside or reading lamp. MADE WHEN ORDERED The roof top is made of red textured stained glass, the upper walls are made of cream, & ruby glass, & translucent ribbed glass makes up the windows, so that the lamp casts a bright, warm light. The support beams under the deck are made of copper u-came. The top lifts off so that a light bulb can be inserted into the lamp inside the glass shade. The deck railings, windows & details are made of copper wire. The body of the lamp is also made of ruby glass, with cream windows on the front panel. A half circle has been carefully ground out of the back panel in order to fit the cord of the lamp.
