"Handmade for storing and presenting cherished photographs, this distressed leather photo album brings together a tactile leather cover and traditional khadda paper pages. The cover is hand bound and made using leather that is a by-product of the meat industry in India, tanned with natural dyes and protected with natural oils so it softens and develops character over time. Inside, the album features acid-free khadda paper, created by hand from recycled unbleached cotton salvaged from the Indian garment industry. The pages are lightly textured and thick, making them suitable for writing, drawing and painting as well as arranging photographs. Photos can be fixed in place with glue, spray mount or clear self-adhesive photo corners. Owing to the handmade finish and the natural character of the materials, each album has its own creases, bumps and marks.
