Family of Friends Natural Soapstone Ornament - 12cm

A Natural Soapstone Family of Friends Ornament beautifully hand carved by artisans in Kenya. Stone sculptures have been carved in Kiisi in Kenya for over 60 years. Kiisi Stone is soft and varies in colour from white to rose and even grey. Carvers work in small groups with each group specialising in certain carvings. Measures approx 12cm tall, 12cm Diameter. A hand crafted Fair Trade Product from Kenya. Please note that the colour may vary slightly from picture shown. Imperfections and variations in colour are a natural occurrence in soapstone, each sculpture is consequently unique, making it an extra special piece.
