This contemporary ceramic wall sconce is hand made of white stoneware. I use a technique of knitting the clay which creates holes allowing the light to penetrate. This creates beautiful patterns of shadows on the wall. I incorporate pieces of colored translucent porcelain which allows the light to shine through.
