This is something special though the main idea was to deal with simple geometric shapes. The wooden body is an open cube made of oak wood which is one of my favorites for making furnitures & other elegant creations. It is a hard & a high density wood but as harder a wood is, the more shiny & smooth becomes at the end by rubbing it down with very fine sandpaper. The lampshade is made of black fabric with a small transparency so that the light comes out from the top & bottom. The result is plentiful & warm light that fills the room without disturbing the eyes. Also in the way the light comes out at the bottom fills in with light the wooden lamp base. FEATURES: The wire is transparent with ON/OFF switch. You can choose the suitable plug adapter for your country. After testing it a lot for a bedroom the suitable bulb is an E27 4 Watts 3000k L.E.D. & for your living room an E27 8 - 10 Watts 3000k L.E.D. Use only L.E.D. bulbs to avoid overheating the lampshade.
