Handmade in our workshop in Wales, made from solid, laminated 18mm Baltic Birch plywood, corners are rounded over, all panels are hand sanded, giving it a minimalist contemporary Nordic look. Fitted with smooth opening concealed hinges, the main colour is light with visible graining, the exposed edges range from dark to light browns between the laminations with other characteristics visible, hand cutouts ensure easy lifting & repositioning & the front cutout enables lifting of the lid, the base is made from 9mm Hardwood Plywood. This piece has a solid build, constructed using hardwood dowels, this is the strongest jointing methods as well as metal cam dowels as the obligatory ' belt & braces' approach to the engineering, this construction method means no visible screws or nails on the outside & will last for years to come, Available in three sizes. All timber is sourced from FSC & PEFC certified manufacturers. Dimensions (W x D x H), Regular: 49.5cm X 25cm X 24cm Large: 63.5cm X 34cm X 32cm Extra Large: 82cm X 37cm X 37cm All dimensions are +/- 5mm & are final external dimensions. Lids on these storage boxes are heavy & require manual assistance when opening & closing otherwise injury could result, moving & repositioning should be done by an adult, we recommend adult supervision during its use. Extra Large Toy Boxes are fitted with hydraulic lid stay pistons ( X 2) as standard, pistons keep the lid open, they are not dampers for soft closing. All other sizes can be fitted with pistons as an option. These items are made to order & will require 4 - 6 weeks for manufacturing, it can be sooner depending on workload at the time of ordering. Please allow for small changes in design, appearance, size & imperfections due to the handmade nature of these pieces & the natural materials used.
