Meet 'Picasso', a unique OOAK hare doll who will be created just for you. This fine Arty Hare is a mixed media piece which will be created individually for you. He is a very fine fellow indeed, with his multi coloured wool felted coat, with silk or chiffon ruffle collar. He is around 10 inches tall & can be posed to sit on a shelf or mantlepiece, or anywhere he looks comfortable. Sculpted over a strong aluminium wire armature from Merino & Bergschaf wools, he has additional touches of contrast fabric incorporated into his ears. HOW THIS ITEM IS MADE Needle felting is the process of binding wool fibres by repeatedly stabbing them with a barbed needle. The barbs catch onto the fibres & cause them to tangle & bind together. To create a 3D sculpture it can take hours of work & thousands of stabs from start to finish.
