Embroidered Red Flower Throw Quilt

This small throw quilt is machine made, hand-embroidered with red colored thread. The material is cotton, with colors of red, orange, yellow & deep maroon; each color has a slight 'marble' look to it, giving each block a waving appereance. This is a simple block pattern quilt made from a kit along with an centerpiece from a local fabric store. The red flower in the centerpiece is machine embroidered on a vibrant white. The boarder is as well as the back is made of a deep marron color that helps brings this quilt together. This quilt measures 48 inches (length) & 46 inches (width); two layers of poly-fill extra loft. This quilt is one the perfect accent to any home. This quilt is also 'tagged' on the back with maker's name. The quilt is proudly made in the U.S.A by a veteran & in a smoke-free home. Backstory: This quilt is quite simple, but beautiful in its simplicity. Even though it was made from a kit, the centerpiece was given to me by a lady who teaches at a local crafts store the sewing & embroidery classes. She allows me to take what I desire & use it on any quilt I wish, on the condition I share pictures of the end quilt with her.
