"Torched Tea Light Holder ""Mdf 01"

I turned this tea light holder made of laminated wood fiber panels into an ei-like shape by hand. Then I sanded the surface smooth & worked with beeswax (from my own production) to underline the natural structure & appearance of the wood. At the same time, you can see at the composite sites how the size of the fibres in the material decreases towards the edge, which leads to an interesting stripe pattern. The tea-light holder MDF 01 is about 9 cm wide & about 9.5 cm high at its widest point. This tea light holder is designed for commercially available tea lights. It is technically possible to use mute candles of the same diameter, but I advise off this for safety reasons. Candles can be a source of danger. Please keep enough distance from combustible materials. When using tea lights in the usual metal bowl, the use of a wooden tea light holder is usually safe. Torched Tea Light Holder Mdf 01
