Hand-Painted Bloomsbury Style Table Lamp Base, Omega Lighting

This 'Fresco' base is hand painted by me & it looks super with one of my small, medium or large Bloomsbury shades which measure 25, 30 or 35cm respectively in base diameter. It is made from wood & fully wired with a fitting, plug & cable. It measures 44cm in height including the fitting which is an E14 fitting intended for the smaller size 4W LED 'golf-ball' style bulb. which is a screw fitting. The base width is 14cm square. The design is based upon the hand decorated style of the Bloomsbury group Textiles & hand painted interiors, along with some inspiration from 1930s ceramics, in shades of olive green, dusky pink & white/grey. It works well with most of the shade designs offered in my shop & is shown here with a few examples. The base is painted with robust interior wood paint & is fully varnished with a semi-matt varnish so colours will not fade. Bloomsbury style was very eclectic & these artists mixed & broke the normal 'rules' of colour co-ordination so don't be scared to experiment with your own mixes.
