Scalloped Headboard Choice Of Fittings & Customer's Own Fabrics

Unique scalloped headboards handmade to order in your choice of fabric & fitting type. This listing is for customers who want to send their own fabric, please see below for fabric details. The headboard itself is appx 60cm, 70cm, or 80cm high - the height starts from the top of the mattress, the fittings add extra height & are adjustable. They can be made for any bed; please message me to discuss sizing & fitting type if you're unsure. These are made with hand cut timber with a medium density foam. They are fitted with a fire safe liner & finished with your choice of fabric & piping to match or contrast. They are made to meet Furniture Fire Safety Regulation for domestic use. If you need the headboard for a commercial setting please message me to discuss. Fabrics: The prices shown here are for customer's own fabric which you will need to send to me. I have a large selection of fabrics in stock which I can use for a small extra charge - please see my other listings for the options. If you are sending your own fabric please bear in mind the following: Width: Most standard width fabrics are appx 140cm wide. This is wide enough to accommodate headboards up to a small double & 1m of fabric will be sufficient for the smaller sizes. Larger sizes will require 2m of fabric which can either be taken from the length of the fabric to avoid seams (this will only work with plain or non-directional prints), or have seams attached at either side to widen the fabric. This is not ideal with very complex prints. Weight: Your fabric will need to be a medium or heavy weight. Very lightweight fabrics will crease & wear quickly. Safety: To comply with Furniture Fire Safety Regulations for domestic use your fabric will need to contain at least 75% natural fibres (cotton, linen, viscose, modal, silk, wool). I combine these with a firesafe liner to comply with the Regulations. Alternatively, you can ask the supplier to add a fire retardant coating to the fabric; I will need to see the certificate which should be sent by the supplier.
