The needle felted Turkey Vulture feather in the photo is almost 11 inches long & is pretty close to the actual size of a Turkey Vulture flight feather. It was made with wool & wire for the quill & stem. It would make a nice book mark. This listing is for a custom order of a feather that will be very similar to this one. There is a flock of Turkey Vultures that hang out in an old, dead tree in my neighborhood. I found one of their feathers on a walk & that is what inspired me to make this piece.
