The stool has been upholstered in an exotic African springbok antelope hide & accented with hand-applied bronze upholstery nail heads. The hand-turned legs have a mahogany or walnut stain (you may note your preference during checkout). This is a piece that adds a very unique & one of a kind look to your decor. Please read our policies & message us with any questions you may have. We only use the highest quality springbok hides on all our furniture. The leather of each hide is very supple & soft, unlike many on the market today that can be quite stiff. There are no unpleasant smells from tanning solutions that are often present in other hides. The saying around our studio & motto is, They feel so good to the touch that you just want to pet them. Cleaning & Care Instructions: Hides are very easily maintained & require minimal care. We recommend occasionally vacuuming your hide with the grain of the hair to rid of dust & dirt and/ or to lightly clean with mild soap & water (do not soak through)...This is all your springbok hide should ever need. Do not be concerned with damaging your hide due to the fact properly tanned hides are practically indestructible, & their natural oils resist staining.
