HUGE ANTIQUE NEEDLEPOINT W00LWORK TAPESTRY PILLOW OF MYTHICAL BIRD You are looking at a spectacular needlepoint & petitpoint of a mythical bird. This needlepoint although old was never before used so it's in excellent condition. The bird is in a scalloped medallion surrounded by flowers. The bird is done completely in micro petitpoint. The colors are all vibrant; burgundy, different shades of blue, rose, green, beige, brown & more. The needlepoint area alone measures 16.5 wide by 21.5 long. Around the needlepoint I used a blue & rose tassel trim with a beige, blue & rose band. The front & back is done in burgundy cotton velvet. There is a burgundy cord with knots in the corners. This one of a kind pillow measures approx. 25 x 25. There is a 30 down & feather insert for a plush look & feel. The entire pillow is lined for extra durability. There is a hidden zipper for your convenience. This pillow is in excellent newly created condition combining the old (needlepoint) with the new (all the other elements).
