White thread on Blue, Yellow or Pink blankets is not advisable as it does not show up well. Waffle fabric, also known as honeycomb fabric, has raised threads that form small rectangles. The waffle weave also allows air to flow through the fabric so that it dries quickly. The warp & weft threads are interlaced & floating in a way that creates small square ridges & hollows in the fabric in a regular pattern. On occasions the embroidering can leave some of the honeycomb exposed due to the weft threads been embroidered on. This does not weaken the blanket in anyway & is not a fault.
