Little Fox, Carved From Cherry, Plum, Apple, Walnut Wood, Woodcarving

This little fox is really a pleasure to look at & to hold in your hands, fits in every pocket & follows you around. Someone to tame & to care for... I carve this fox from plum, cherry, apple or walnut wood. The trees had been cut down anyway, not for the sake of my carvings. But what you find inside these old & grey tree trunks is marvelous. It is such a surprise each time & the wood is bright & hard. This makes it possible to smooth & polish it until it is shining like a precious stone. It is varnished with natural oil & polished with bees wax. The figures are made to order. I will carve them for you & the grain of wood will differ from the one you see on the photos, however it will be similar & from the same type of wood. (You can see the variations in picture 3,4 & 5.) This is not a child toy in the first place. It is a bit too precious.
