Red Admiral Butterfly Sculpture Scrap Metal Animal Art

This Red Admiral Butterfly has been made with scrap metal including bits of wheelbarrow, nails, bike chain & hair grips. It was then painted with oil paints. (Copyright JK Brown) The Red Admiral butterfly (Vanessa atlanta) was previously known as a red admirable. It is a frequent visitor to Uk gardens & even though it is a migrant butterfly it is now so common it is considered a resident. (We have found in our garden that if you put out over ripe banana's in the early autumn the Red Admirals can't stay away!) Each butterfly sculpture is a bespoke piece of original art. An oil painting of a butterfly on metal! It has a 6 wingspan & stands 3 high & is 5 in length. There are 3 of these sculptures being made & will be ready in 3-4 weeks time.
