"Asian Quilted Wall Art Named ""Papillion Reflections"

This is a fabulous wall hanging called Papillion Reflections ! Papillion Reflections started from a panel of fabric with the mostly white background with the butterflies flowers & a pond effect I drew out a sketch & then set to work on a design to compliment the featured panel design. The fabrics are simply gorgeous, some made in Japan, all with exquisite detail. Done in a very traditional flowers, leaves, butterflies & intricately detailed patterns. The colors are wonderful reds, golds, greens, grays, white & black. Most of them have a top layer of gold accents or overlays in the patterns. The backing has artful branches of pine needles with gold accents. The quilting stitches I used is a ginkgo leaf pattern over it all in a gold rayon thread & the back in stitches using a grey cotton thread. The size of this wonderful wall hanging or quilt depending on how you want to use it is 59 X 61 . A hanging sleeve & handmade label are sewn on to the back.
