Flying Fish Glass Mobile

Modulated shades of blue stained glass shaped like fish create this modular mobile. This piece makes a wonderful addition to any desk top & is a fun conversation piece. Hand crafted with 12 individually fused organic shaped fish & seaweed. Each piece is hand cut with a simple glass cutter then fused for over 15 hours to give the glass a smooth & glossy finish then slumped on molds to bend the fish into sweet curves. The base is an organic 6x6 or split face Jerusalem limestone tile. This limestone is just gorgeous with organic layers of rock strada running through it. I mounted 5 stainless steel rod which swing freely constantly creating new pleasing forms. The rods are bent into interesting artistic shapes with curls on the ends to easy hang the fused glass pieces. I made each rod removable so you can reconfigure your modular mobile to create a new piece. The fused glass is linked with silver jump rings that also can be interchanged to hang on each rod. This is truly a modular modular mobile. The possibilities are wide open. The mobile will be shipped with the 5 stainless steel rods detached. The fused glass will be attached to the jump rings but need to be hung on each rod. Assembly is simple. Just plug rods into holes provided & hang glass elements.
