What happens when an artist has too much time on her hands? She makes clocks of course! Now available, Art Clocks by artist Carmen I Hurt. Images of Carmen's most popular paintings are printed on canvas, & affixed to gesso board with a 3/4 cradle & natural wood sides. The clock face is then sealed with several coats of clear varnish after which, clock parts & hands are attached. The 3/4 depth allows the clock parts to be completely recessed allowing the clock to hang flat against the wall, or may be used as a free standing decorative piece. The clock parts are the Quartex brand Q 80 Premium Quartz Clock Movements with a 10year warranty. Each clock has a built in hanger which will hold up to 4 pounds.
