Single 3-D Ceramic Texture Block, Nature Series

This texture block has been individually hand built in stoneware. I applied unique textures using found natural elements (nuts, seeds, stalks, pebbles, bones, etc.) & distorted with my fingers. It is finished with warm earth tones ranging from sienna to dark chocolate with oxides, slips & glazes, then high-fired in a gas kiln to 2000 degrees. It measures roughly 5 X 5 X 2.5 & makes a stunning installation alone or when arranged with other sculptural pieces. The tile includes a wire on the back for safe hanging on a small nail.
