It was created from Oak & Ash scraps given to me by a wonderful woman who worked at the Louisville Slugger Factory in Louisville, KY. This box's exterior surfaces were sanded extremely smooth & coated with several coats of Tung Oil. The oil gives the box a matte finish & showcases the natural beauty of the wood. The interior of the box & drawer are lined with black Suede-Tex velvet fiber to add to this box's sophistication & to help protect personal items stored within. The drawers can hold small jewelry items such as earrings & rings. The drawer pulls are made of ebony-stained poplar.
