Blue Whale Relief Sculpture Handmade Concrete Art Tile, Limited Edition

A gorgeous three 8 x 8 inch panel relief sculpture of the world's largest animal, the blue whale. I work with the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto to recreate pieces from their collections. Recently the Museum has undertaken the task of collecting the skeleton of a blue whale found washed up on a beach in Nova Scotia. This got me thinking about these animals, & inspired me to create this work. Cast from my original clay sculpture by hand in fine concrete. This is not your father's concrete! Beautiful surface texture & color effects. Blue stain on a warm mocha background creates a feeling of light & depth on this marine scene. Stagger or space the tiles for some cool effects....I can modify or customize colors,etc. Three 8 x 8 inch tiles which can be installed indoors or out . Great custom art tile for kitchen , bathroom , fireplace or outdoor space! IMPORTANT Hooks on the back can enable this piece to be hung on the wall as a truly unique & stunning art object.
