Hallo, Baby? - Ceramic Man in A Red Telephone Booth Making Call

Here is a fireclay sculpture of a man, talking on the phone to someone special who he loves very much. It measures 25 cm x 25 cm x 56 cm / 9.8 x 9.8 x 22 & weighs 6.5 kg / 14 lb The sculpture, his phone & the receiver were colored with metal oxides & fired at oC 1050 in an electric kiln. The windowpanes of the booth are made of plexiglass. The whole composition is equipped with wiring that works with 220v, part of it has been hidden under the pasta strainer on the top, along with the LED spotlight bulb. Changing the bulb would be possible by removing the colander & pulling the bulb in the direction of the sculpture. No molds were used, it is a one-of-a-kind piece.
