Hand Carved Stoneware Art Platter - Mosaic & Semiprecious Stones - Made To Order

Hand Carved Ceramic & Mosaic Art Plate We asked local potter Monte Young (etsy shop Monte Young Pottery) to throw this stoneware platter for us. We then carved these bold patterns into the raw clay then bisque fired it, glazed the platter with our favorite palette of bright colors, fired it again, & then added bits of semiprecious stones & grout to add another layer of interest & texture. This is large, eye-catching piece would be well suited on an entryway table as a collection site for mail, cell phone, glasses, & keys, or as the gathering spot for tv remotes in living spaces, or simply as a display platter, but is not food safe. Gently clean with damp cloth. Do not immerse in water. SEMIPRECIOUS STONES Semiprecious stones: turquoise, cultured pearl, amethyst, jade, coral.
