The Septimus only needs a 1kg drive weight, which can be anything from a wine bottle to an elongated stone, although I do also offer a weight shell (SMALL). The 33 page ring bound instructions ensure your build is as painless as possible also there are online video tutorials. Because of its simple design it requires a minimum of materials & build time. & with its moderate price of 100 for the complete kit it is ideal as a gift or for the first time builder who does not want to spend too much. The pendulum is carbon fibre, making it impervious to humidity & temperature changes, ensuring higher accuracy.
