Whiskey Barrel Coffee Table - Half

The longer a whisky matures in a wooden barrel, the better it is said to be. Because of this great age, our coffee tables made from whisky barrels have this dark wood color & the rustic rusty rings. The interior also provides information about the history of the barrel with its light whisky smell & the burnt wood. in our workshop, we rework an original used whisky barrel into a decorative coffee table. To do this, it is first roughly sanded down to remove impurities & splinters. Due to years of use, typical characteristics can be found on the barrel wood & rings (e.g. scratches, bumps, ring residue, rust spots, etc.), but we leave these on the barrel to preserve its charm. For this reason, each table is unique. To ensure that the table remains stable in the long term, we clamp the individual staves together & screw the rings to the barrel wood. This means that cracks will form as the wood continues to dry out, which is not a problem. The rings are sometimes heavily damaged & retain their rusty character even after processing. Felt feet are included in the delivery. The product is similar to the picture, but differs slightly due to the individual barrel properties.
